Once upon a time there was a boy, who wanted a butterfly, white as snow, without it ever have been a caterpillar.
He searched beneath all leaves of his village, roamed through all the grasses of his city, scavenged all the flowers of his country. Still, he couldn’t find a butterfly that had not been a caterpillar- exhausted one late evening he fell on his back. And for the first time in his life counted the stars; busy as he was, he never realized how they sparkled; he was memorized to how can they be so small yet so bright.
And before he knew it,
There it was: a butterfly.
Spread across the sky, with wind rushing behind it, graceful as ever.
A butterfly that had never been a caterpillar.
